I am a Pittsburgh, PA based freelance artist specializing in illustration, graphic design and photography.

I write and create graphic-prose, and teach workshops and classes on comic-books and the narrative arts. In 1997 I self-published SMOKING GUNS: ONE SHOT; my current ongoing comic-book series is HERO CORP., INTERNATIONAL, a meta-human narrative set in the city of "New Pittsburgh" which explores the world of corporate American superheroics.

My creative writing services have included literary reviews for publication, arts-related event documentation, prose fiction, comic-book scripts, and poetry. My photography, both private and commissioned, includes a wide variety of subjects: portraits, children and babies, couples, engagements and weddings, events, athletic and artistic.

In 2016, I received funding for my work from the Advancing Black Art in Pittsburgh Program , made possible via The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Heinz Endowments, and the Artists Opportunity Grant, made possible by The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. In 2017, I was voted Best Local Cartoonist by readers of the Pittsburgh City Paper. In 2018, I was the recipient of a BMe Community Genius Award.

I'm currently board president of The ToonSeum, Pittsburgh's Museum of the Comic and Cartoon Arts.

Please take a tour of my portfolio - I hope you like what you see - and feel free to contact me with any questions. I like getting feedback on my work.
